Matthias Fitzi obtained his PhD in cryptography from ETH Zurich under the supervision of Professor Ueli Maurer. He continued his research career at University of California, Davis, then Aarhus University, and later back at ETH Zurich. He has been a research fellow with IOHK since 2018.
The focus of Matthias’s research is blockchain, consensus, and secure protocols for multi-party computation.
